View Full Version : Higher density through alpha?

Hi all, I'm projecting an image to displace a plane, but I can only get a limited amount of polys regardless of my original mesh's polycount or the image's res.

I'm going: Alpha -> Select a custom image, then

Alpha -> Make 3D

I set MRes to its maximum value which is 256, this is the setting the affects the output polycount. The MSm attribute affects it too but I find a setting of 1 or 2 gives me a good details.

So my question is How do I get a higher density mesh to reflect my alpha image detail?
