It has been almost a year since I finished this film and now after having made a bit of a run in the festival circuits I have published it on-line. It is my final project for the Masters of Animation course I undertook in University of Technology in Sydney in 2008.

So with great joy I present to you... Mariza!

It is about a stubborn donkey and her conflict with by her master, an old fisherman, over a mater of "going the extra mile". The whole skit is "shot" on a 3d animated Greek island.

The film has screened in a number of festivals and has won a few awards and is still going. The next upcoming big festival will be the Nickelodeon animation festival this November.

Great Story, Great models, Great lighting and rendering, i wish the animation was more tightened.

Ajouz: Yes I know. This was my first proper short film and I was learning Maya at the same time. (3Ds Max user) I also had a hard time with the rigging and I spent a bit more time on modeling than I ought too, so I was left with a very tight schedule for the animation. I barely got one pass done for some shots. Then I had to commit to that because I was paying sound designers to do the sound and they needed the animations ready. Oh well... next time! Also thanks for watching and taking the time to point that out.
