this matter is a little bit confusing, you know..
sorry for that I need imformation..

why do I always get semi transparent areas just where it should be %100 transparent ?
like the image ..

I'm using maya 2009 64 bit, and the shader itsefl is just a lambert with color and tranparency applied..

Set shadow attenuation to zero in the material's raytrace options.

in rendering part, sometimes there are tiny sliders which drive me mad ...
