I am running into a problem where I want to gamma correct the texture that feeds to mib_lookup_spherical.
I tried to feed mib_lookup_spherical with either Maya's gammaCorrect node or mip_gamma_gain node in the connection editor, and got this error message when rendering:
"mib_lookup_spherical2.tex: unsupported parameter connection of type texture to incompatible node mip_gamma_gain1, ignored"
I want to feed the eye ray of the raySwitch a spherical LDR image, so I need to gamma correct it for the linear workflow. Is there a way to gamma correct either the Maya texture node or mentalrayTexture node and feed it to mib_lookup_spherical?
