Could anyone help me out with the skin modifier in max 9? I'm currently weighting the vertices arount the leg bones (biped) and i've found that some of the verts can't be adjusted while the normalise box is ticked. Trouble is if I untick the normalise box, when i set inplace mode for animation the un-normalised verts start behaving strangely and do not follow the bone propperly, so i end up with big spikey bits sticking out of the leg. Any ideas?
