I recently graduated from Animation Mentor. Semesters 5 and 6 of the course were spent developing and animating this short film. Please have a look and let me know what you think!

Nice. Impressive animation. The only thing that bothered me was lightening. If the lights were just a little bit realistic, it would be much better. Everything seams so dark.
In any case very impressive work.

Thank you for the feedback, borisignjatovic. I will brighten up the dark shots so that the animation is 'seen' properly. :)

Yes, I think the animation is top notch. However it is a bit dark.
Great idea too, thought it was quite a funny idea!

I agree about the lighting needs work maybe add a little blue to the lighting to lighten it up.
The dog seams still allot of the time. when he tap dances he does not shift his weight at all. his front paws are even and I think they should be off set a little.
The dog should have a little arc in the back when he flips. and when he lands his head should be tilted toward the guy then looks up. the dog should have some recoil when he land. When he does look up he should look prouder that he just did a flip give him more feeling. maybe add a bark.

Pretty much everyone has said it. Lighting it better would make it really sing! Great stuff

Thanks a lot for the comments. I have re-lit the darker interior shots so hopefully now the animation overall reads well. Please refer to he original post for the latest links. Please download the HD versions if you can.
Melmann - Thanks for stopping by. Its funny I was checking out your bot test on your blog just a couple of days back. Small world, huh? :)
Ustel3dman - thank you for the detailed feedback. The dog indeed could have indeed been a little more looser.
