View Full Version : Pixar's renderman: can it delete disk files when done each frame? (like .ptc, .tex)

Hi everybody,

I'm rendering with Pixar's Renderman, and I have a simple issue where the disk space usage of renderman's normal bake processes are using up all of my disk space. (generating about 2 gigs per hour of rendering).

Is there a way to tell renderman to delete the cache / data after each frame gets rendered?

isn't there a preference at the end of the render options panel to clean up temp files?

aha, you're right!
Advanced tab > Cleanup has options for Job files and Frame files.

Thanks! Problem solved!
