View Full Version : Problem deforming pelvic with physique

I have always been interested with character animation but every time I try, I get the same problem. I can never get the pelvic area to deform properly. I am unable to fix it by changing the biped, envelopes, or vertexes. Tutorials have not been any use either. I always end up with a jagged fold like in the image.

I am using 3ds Max 5.

For anyone who is interested, I was able to solve the problem by using the original low res mesh. By having the joints made up of only a few polygons it would not get the messed up seams. I could then add the mesh smooth modifier after the physique.
