Anyone know why jaggies are evident on the stamped geometry? The mesh is at 5mio. The stamps are following the flow of an edgeloop. Surely at 5mio there should be very little aliasing.

You might have to blur your stamp a bit. Not much, just enough for the pixels to have some brightness variation across the transition.

cheers mate.There's a slight feather on it but obviously not enough.A 5 pixel or so blend to 50% grey might do the trick.

you should also use 32-bit greyscale files for things like that. do your blur in PS after converting it to 32-bit so the gradation is in 32-bit
