I have a setup that is basically 4 points connected to a central point. (think pyramid shape) When the tip moves, the other 4 follow and have a spring controller so that they bounce and lag behind a bit. Now I'm being asked if this can be limited so the lower points will not go through a floor. Since I am at the mercy of the spring actions here I'm not sure how to limit this,... even if the tip is animated properly, the spring will provide secondary movement that will go through the floor.
Using MAX by the way.
Edit: should have thought about this further before posting. I should be able to dial up /down the influence of the spring controller, so that should solve the problem.
