Lets get the ball rolling guys. It was mentioned that we should pick a concept piece from deviantart (http://www.deviantart.com/#catpath=gameart/gameconcepts&order=9). We should begin narrowing it down to the same subject(or the exact same thing as suggested by josh) to get this started for the weekend.

I suggest picking something simple. When it gets too complicated, most likely, we won't get to finish it with the time constraints.

For the challenge after this one, I was wondering if we can pick a simple organic object, such as an apple, leaf, or orange - capturing all its natural beauty and imperfections.

That fish looks interesting, IRAFK.

Are we supposed to choose one single object and then everyone will model the same object (for exemple, that fish in IRAFK link) or will we choose a narrow category (steampunk fish)?

i like the idea of choosing a weapon design in deviantArt, either we choose a concept by ourselves or a concept gets assigned for everyone i like either both.
