View Full Version : How to make seamless textures for texturing multi-patch surface.

08 August 2003, 07:53 AM
I have patch model of a head (about 30 patches) and need to texture it. But I don't understand the way how to do it correctly and from what point to start. Maybe I need to make textures for the basic group of head patches, for example top of skull, face and neck and then apply texures with planar and cylinrical projections accordingly.

But in my opinion, for multi-patch surfaces the correct way is to apply textures by normal, but how paint 30 seamless texture maps?

Deep Paint 3D or BodyPaint 3D or ZBrush.
