View Full Version : Tips on rendering when using maya muscle?

Anyone here use maya muscle(not just bones but the nurbs muscle deformers) and encounter any problems when rendering, or problems if displacement maps(from zbrush ) are used with it?

Its my first time using the muscles in rendering(not just the bones which I have used for a while without problem). I get a variety of crash problems when 3d motion blur is activated.

I am having a hard time finding any information and a thread under the general maya forum has been unanswered for days.
I'll have to try autodesk forums after this I reckon.

Here's a tip.
Muscle Creator crashes when you have 3d motion blur in mental ray turned on(at least for me).

However, if you use the muscle builder under the old simple muscles menu-it doesnt crash. And you dont have to cache it either and delete the muscle.
