View Full Version : Texture Reference Object + Render Layers

I am curious if it is possible to attach a texture reference object for a character to different materials/layers? My problem is that we are using a 3D texture that has attributes being driven by a other utilities, so it can't be converted to a file texture (since it's dynamically changing).

But the other issue is that we have a camera projection in a different render layer that we don't want to stick to the character, but the texture reference object is sticking everything to the character!

So basically, I want the TRO to effect the character in render layer 1, but not effect hime n render layer 2. Or just not effect one of the materials, either way :)

How do I fix this?
