we are trying to get our normal-mapped animated models to display correctly using the OGRE real-time engine. animation is skeletal, but not hardware-vertex. the model's normal map was created in zbrush and exported to maya. tangents were exported correctly, and everything looks good in maya 2008 and 8.5.
however, when it is animated in OGRE, the mesh is deformed and the polygons in the mesh become visible.
has anyone else encountered this problem? here are pictures of the map working in bind pose, map not working in animated pose, and tangents. let me know if you need more information to respond.
