I'm having a heck of a time getting proper render passes out of Mental Ray in Maya 2009. For some reason I can't get the 'diffuse' pass to render a layered shader correctly. Has anyone had this problem before?
Here's the results:
You'll notice when I render the diffuse pass, the checkered floor (layered texture) doesn't have the purple color in it. This purple color isn't part of the ambient, relfection, specular or indandescence passes either.
