View Full Version : nCloth CLoak Bounce

Hi all, please have a look at this reference to see what I am on about. It's a character with an nCloth cape which has a point constraint set to weld on the vertices around the next to stop it slipping. I am using the preset Heavy Denim and this is the start of a simulation. As you can see once the cloth has dropped the vertices around the neck keep bouncing and I haven't got the slightest idea how to fix this.

Anyone? I have tried a few setting but to no avail...

Is this too much friction, bounce? The rest of the cloth works fine. I have been learning from the Digital Tutors CD but it hasn't helped.

Agh! That one, there are so many.

That's fixed it, looks cool. Now I gotta do all the caching again.

Thanx so much dude - you rock!

yeah, its one of those lil hidden gems that really should be turned OFF by default, and let you decide to turn it on if you need it, which I rarely have so far... ;)
