Here's a free character rig for Maya 5 available to the public for non commercial use only. Very simular to IK joe.

just import file into a new scene

oh sorry about that , this is a Maya 5 rig
just import into a new scene.....
This will not work with older versions though. Unless someone knows a plugin or export tool to older versions......

Looks really cool, but I dont have 5.0, so I'll just have to wait :(

Hey Steve

Haven't had time to check out the rig yet (hopefully this weekend)

The poses you post are cool, but I think they can be stronger. Remember to work on your siluete (sp?)

Anyway... I'll let you know about the rig as soon as I can

Hey Goosh, hows it going,

Just remember to download from the site cause I've made a few changes and I do update the rig every now and then.

Yeah I'm just getting used to posing the characters, they do become stronger eachtime, but I'm having fun. Yeah the only thing that makes the character's silouette tough is the extra long neck.
Gotta learn to crawl before you can walk, I guess.....

Anyways let me know what you think of the rig when u get a chance, just remember to import into a new scene.
