hi everyone,

i"m searcing a way to modify my perspective view in rhinoceros 3d
to match my car model to a picture of that car.

by now i know to place the background image but
besides playing with the rotate view i dont know
how to match the perspective and location close anough.

there is a specifict tool for that in rhino? a method?

If you know the lens that was used to take the picture you are trying to match, you have to imput those settings in the rhino camera. After that, try to match the rotation and translation of the original camera using a plane as a reference. Move the camera arround until the reference plane alligns with the ground. Finally, move the car untill it matches the one on the picture. This should give you a rough guideline to get close enough results (asuming that the photo in the picture is more or less flat ground)

I am no expert at doing this, but that is the way I would approach it
