View Full Version : mip rayswitch advanced - maya crash

I'm using maya 2008 ext2 x64.
By my understanding " mip rayswitch advanced " should allow different shaders to be run at different ray hit's witch would be the holly grale off ray trace optimisation and controll.
But maya just crash when i click render.
So I have to ask how is this thing actually used ???

anybody knows how to use mip rayswitch "advanced" ?

working fine on win.
but crashing here too on osx 10.4.11
