View Full Version : Tb0ne's sketchbook, eager for critiques

07 July 2009, 02:51 AM

My name is Travis and I'm a student at the Art Institute of Vancouver where I am in the 3D Modeling for Animation and Games program. I have loved to draw from an early age but I always hesitated to join a site like this one because I was overwealmed by the quality of other peoples work and believed I needed to improve dramatically before I should join. This post is my attempt to correct that mistake, and I would be very thankful for any and all critiques.

Edit: Images should be working now.

Anatomy of a creature I plan to model sometime over the next 6 months.

Nice work I love the 4 arms monster concept and the bird at the beginning. I wish you could paint thouse and see how they come out. Your life drawing is nice too but I would suggest just adding some eyes or noses to the faces. I like a lot the concept of the Aztec warrior and a lot of the details and colors used. The last painting of the dog is nice too but I'm not sure how dificult it could be to add more deteils to the painting but i would suggest getting it into photoshop and adding more details to it.
