Modeled in Maya 4.5. Please critique my topology and the general look of the castle so far. It is in progress but I have found myself floundering for the past few hours so I need fresh, honest perspective on what lokos good and what looks like it needs improvment insetad of just pushing and pulling faces aimlessly.

I tried to keep all my faces quad but I ended up with a lot of triangles around the windows.

i think it's looking good so far.

i think i would have put more poly's to show the roundness of the turrets ( unless you want them that shape) but i think thats gonna be a bugger to fix now. obviously you could fix it with smoothing but then............ i wouldn't use smooth on it, or i would use selective smoothing.

then you wouldn't have to worry about the triangles too much.

i think the texture is what's really gonna help this one along.

as far as the concept goes, i think it :buttrock:

Thanks for the input. I wanted to keep the turrets angles like this when I started but now I think I will smooth some to add variety and make it no so obvious they are cloned and scaled : )
I will post a textured update soon.
