I am new to Zbrush. My first idea was to make a low-poly zombie in Blender, import it in to Zbrush and make a cool hi-res model of it. Exported it back to Blender and made a normal map out of it on the low res. It went great.
Then I tried the vertex paint thing in Zbrush. Now the model is painted, but I honestly have no clue how to convert the painting into a texture. How about the UV seams? I have done none so far. Are they automatically done in Zbrush?

As you can see I only clicked "Colorize" from right and then painted that.
