View Full Version : Uh, Guys? A "whisper suite" is not a Program

07 July 2003, 05:44 PM

There seems to be some confusion about the term "whisper suite," with some people thinking that it's a new Luxology program being shown at Siggraph.

The term "whisper suite" refers to a room (either a conference room, hotel room, or an enclosed area within a large exhibition booth) where a software company shows off its new products to a select group of people, usually invitation-only. The showing is private, and attendees usually have to sign NDAs before they're shown anything.

This term is commonly used throughout the software industry; it's NOT a program, okay? :-)
