I got a problem when rendering displacement map in Maya2008 with MR.
Here is how I do with my file:
1. start model my creature in Maya with 90% quads and 10% triangles (Low poly).
2. Export Obj into ZB3.1 and add detail on it. Export 32-bit displacement map with Multi
3. Assign the displacement map on my model in Maya. Turn off the "Feature Displacement" of my model.
4. Before I assign the MentalraySubdivApprox on my model. I did a test render. It was rendered correctly. (Not so bad, but I want it looks better, so I assign a MentalraySubdivApprox on it...)
5. After I give it a "MentalraySubdivApprox", the model disappears in the render-view.
Can anyone tell me what happened?
