View Full Version : Environment: Battle worn docks and hut -class project

This is for a school class project we're working on. any feedback is welcome.
we're going for a "ravaged town" look. these are the docks where the player will first land. the hut is gonna be stamed throughout the level. not sure about adding blood and what not on the hut yet since it'll get stamed and then it'll be the same blood over and over.
btw, the actual polycount on the docks is 1037, i was just really tired when i comped this stuff in pshop, hehe

I would seriously think about adding more polys to the objects some depth and "weight."
If this is for a video game enviroment, today's technology will allow for more polygon's, just be sure to use them efficiently, adding some broken parts to the dock, some holes in the huts.
These don't look too "battle worn" to me, and there is no substance to any of the objects. Keep going forward with them, they have potential.
