Can anyone recommend a good budgeted scanner for animation work such as textures, backgrounds, and etc?

Thank You

I would recommend the Epson perfection 1650 Photo.
Good Scanner, good price. If you don't have to scan from film, get the Epson perfection 1650, without the film adapter.

The epson 1650 is good, so are the cannon canno-scan's.

Thank You guys. I read user reviews of both scanners. It seems Epson Perfection 1650 has nothing but good recommendations. There are some mixed reviews of the Canon Scanoscans. But I would like to hear some comments on both brands from the pros. How's the color reproduction from the Epson 1650 and Canon Canoscans? Which one is better in color reproduction, sharpness, and filter functions?

Thank You

just make sure that when you are comparing prices that you look at the OPTICAL RESOLUTION specification and not the overall resolution which is often software-enhanced. higher is better.
Good brands are Agfa, Asta Umax, cannon, hp & epson
