Am I the only one that thought the first once was pretty cute?

Condom commercial before a preview for a kids movie is just wrong...

I liked the chimpmunks as a kid, then at some point I started hating them. Funny how that goes.

Nice work on the cg though, whomever worked on that.

No, many people thought the first one was pretty cute. Heck, I worked on the first one and was convinced during production that it was gonna be an awful movie. I was pleasantly surprised ... due to my very low expectations initially. My kid LOVED it, and I'm sure the squeakuel be be no different.

Btw, all the work on both of them was/is done by Rhythm & Hues Studios.

They really do look good, and the animation was spot on. I can't get over how good fur looks these days. (especially by rhythm and hues, Aslan in the first narnia still blows me away)

as much as i think the first movie was a complete waste of time and was very very BAD,the CG was awesome,,,guys at R&H always deliver the best looking characters i remember(i specially still love theire Scooby doo)....the animations and renders were one of the bests

the new one has great CG too, congrats to all who did the CG,but the movie itself??
