View Full Version : mi_car_paint_phen with mia material causing strange artifacts

When I have an object with Car paint shader next or overlapping with an object with a mia material I get some strange blooming effect, do any one of you now what is causing this and how can I fix it.

I've attacheda link to an image of a scene demonstrating this, it was rendered with mental ray with no GI, I have only one Area Light and the default light is turned off.

This has been discussed before.

Try turning off "export post effects" in your render globals.

thanks a lot leif3d I tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything on the subject. Disabling post effects worked perfectly.
