View Full Version : Highway Duel - Car animation

06 June 2009, 10:42 PM

I`ve been working on a car animation for quite some time now, and though I`m nowhere near finished (spare time project) I figure I`d post a link to some in-progress vids. They`re a few months old but should hopefully be new to people here.

I`m using very low poly techniques to generate the backgrounds so in no way competing against the big movies. Just trying to create a bit of car photography I`d like to see.

Just wanted to post a few in progress scenes from my car animation. It`s taking time to do but I`m still working on it.)

Very cool work you have, really enjoyed watching all the videos. Only thing that catches my eye is the desert feels too bright, along with some shots with the cars the reflectivity makes them look really bright as well. I know its the desert but contrast is always pleasing to the eye. The scene when the car enter the tunnel is really cool, the shot I really liked was the camera flying over the desert focusing on the car in the distance. Real fancy man, looking forward to seeing your final piece...

Thanks for the comments. Yes there are some contrast issues and I know it`s overbright so I`ll have a look at these when I`ve finally animated and rendered all the scenes.
It`s a long hall, I`m hoping the end of 2011 will be when it gets finished. But I`ll have to wait and see....

Time.... I need more time!
