@ TCPortfolio: Yep... I like to do a lot of test renders, to find the best look with the lowest render times, I hope the final animation can have this quality....

@ redCigarette: We are making a really great effort to mantain the visual style... looking the other threads with animation tests and rigged characters make us feel we are soo late... :S

When modeling this kind of mechanic stuff, i tend to build it and rigg it as i am modeling, to avoid geometry interpenetration. This is the rifle open and closed.

The High Priest
Once a respetable scientist, he found a way to insert the human thoughts into a cybernetic shell, the only problem was that the memories would dim after a time...

He found that all the memories could be stored in a central matrix, to be constantly reinserted into the cybernetic brain, but soon, tempted by the greed of knowing it all, he inserted all the memories into his own artificial brain, becoming nearly omniscient.

Phew! I had many conflicts to rig this character, I had to reorient almost all the joints to get it to work, but seems that It's done now.

More and more buildings in the scene, the opening scene must show the size and complexity of the structure... wonder if mental ray will render this on time.

Maybe we should make some renders for cards and do it in a matte painting....

Getting a BioShock/Rapture-ish vibe from the environments.... maybe just in the feel of the scale and those reactor-like things.

I'm enjoying a lot the previews, storyboards and still images of this project. As far as now my favourite item is the weapon, how it works, the materials, the shape of it ...its like visual poetry ...I think I'm in love of it!:bowdown:

I had notice also that the storyboard hasn't audio line, I wonder why? :surprised
But the story and the camera moves looks fantastic, a lot to work out. There are parts on the storyboard that is used as a character bio's... It seems a llittle messy, a good idea is to have it apart.:lightbulb

Is a really good project, keep working on it! Is worth.:thumbsup:

P.S. Can't wait to see the graphic design, credits...

Looking interesting. I have noticed that your character has extremaly large hands, almost twice as big as its head.... a bit wierd, but overall looking very nice.

@ SS4DIR: Thanks for the "Visual poetry" just wait to see it opening (As soon as I can make the **** CgUploader work...) About the messy storyboard/character bios... well, it's all in my head and all this started as a standalone project... and when I realized it, I hade a big team to work with, and not much time to work :wip:

@ pierzak: yep... long fingers... the original design had very very loooong arms... but it looked kinda ape-shaped
