Hi there!
So here it goes!
I'm teaming up with Kory Heinzen (http://retroactivities.blogspot.com/) and Nico Sanghrajka (http://www.n-imagine.com/) so far. Kory and I are looking for Ideas right now. We were thinking about creating something like a TV series intro sequence. I will post our character ideas later.
I'm super excited and hope we can finish in time!

Kory did this first sketch. More to come!

06-19-2009, 08:29 PM
Exciting stuff! good luck!

06-19-2009, 08:40 PM
I am excited, too!
... and curious! :-)

06-19-2009, 08:45 PM
This is going to be soooo much fun.

We already have had some great brain storming sessions.
look out for some kick ass concepts and animations from GORO.
Hopefully I can keep up with him.
Yes, more to come!

Here is our idea for the main character. The secret agent. We are aiming for a cartoony style. This is my attempt on the character based on Kory's rough 3D model.
We still have to figure out the clothings.

Kory already started modeling this guy.

06-19-2009, 10:44 PM
that's a pretty sweet character design! Looking forward to seeing yours already!

06-20-2009, 03:13 AM

Kory's first attempt on the female character in our story.

To save time we try not to go beyond 3characters. Two main characters and one generic character.

06-20-2009, 04:58 AM
Great, now I have to draw faster.
We don't want to give the people too much!
HA HA. just foolin
PLENTY more where that came from!

I did a painting for a potential shot in our intro sequence. The secret agent spying on his enemies.
We will come up with more concept paintings soon.

06-22-2009, 02:12 PM
Here's another comparison other than "Gorillaz". The Esurance commercials with Special Agent Erin Esurance. lol You could get a lot of inspiration with those as well.

Love the brutal punch shot. classic.

06-22-2009, 02:17 PM
Awesome work. I am very curious to see the final render of the whole thing. Very nice and strong designs, the silouhettes and sharp angles are awesome very easy to read and sleek looking. Good luck with the contest guys.. good work

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback and encouragement,
Until now, I can`t really give a lot of input as I am on the 3D Part of things
and waiting to get started with rigging the characters :-P

But I agree with you, The concepts that Goro and Kory are coming up with are amazing,
and I am glad and excited to be able to contribute to that project soon :-)

06-23-2009, 12:55 AM
Thank you so much for your comments guys!
My Bro is now on board too. He will compose the music for our intro. I'm excited!!

06-23-2009, 01:21 AM
The artwork is looking absolutely great. Can't wait to see how this translates into 3D.

Inspiring stuff

06-23-2009, 02:40 AM
Oh, snap. I really need to be more conscious of the competition.

Goro, Intervain, Walrus... damn.

06-23-2009, 10:19 AM

I found some time to paint yesterday evening.
This could be the shot after the punch out. We will start storyboarding soon to figure out what kind of shots we want to include.

06-23-2009, 08:36 PM
http://assets.cgsociety.org/challenge/entries/25/18149/18149_1245718418_medium.jpg (http://assets.cgsociety.org/challenge/entries/25/18149/18149_1245718418_medium.jpg)

I did some quick idea sketches for the generic guy...or maybe villan? Not sure yet.

Not a generic guy. Villan, mabye. But If your secret agent works for someone, theres your boss. This is an amazing thread. Love the art style and can't wait to see the final product. Good luck.

06-23-2009, 08:52 PM
Whart a team and well some excellent sketch already goro (but am I really surprised ?). I specially love the rainy one. Very impatient to see something moving from this.

06-23-2009, 10:10 PM
Good stuff.. I can see that it can be a strong entry.
Good luck.

06-23-2009, 10:23 PM
Wow, never seen that many award winners in one thread ;) Looks all pretty cool, is there anything 3d you can show yet because I'm curious...

06-24-2009, 04:10 PM
Great stuff, Goro and Kory as a team? Good luck everyone else:)

06-24-2009, 10:44 PM

Woo Kory is working on maximum speed! Here is a wip of the main character as it is right now. I think it's coming along nicely. What do you guys think?

Kory is also working on the hair shape so it looks good from different angles.

Nico is already working on the animation rig. I hope I can post some test
animations soon.

06-25-2009, 05:18 PM
pierzak, Remi, melkao

Ha you're already looking for excuses not to finish hugh? Get back to work! :P

thanks buddy! I'm curious what you will come up with this time!

nice to see you around! Here you go. First glimpse of the 3D :D

06-25-2009, 09:58 PM
cool. thanks for posting this Goro.
I am also working on some lighting tests!
more to come soon for this guy.
and then the gal! whoo hoo.
she will be fun.

Storyboards are the next task.
maybe this week end?

06-26-2009, 01:21 AM
Hi guys !

Your job is such inspiringful men... There is a "taste" of Gorillaz on it.

The concepts are awsome, and I can't wait to see in animation.

Cya !

06-26-2009, 09:53 AM
i've watched and worked with 3d characters for so many years it's hard to be impressed these days, especially by WIPs. but that is a totally fricking awesome start Kory! he got tons of personality already! i'm jealous by your talent and want to get back to the drawing board to spice up my ideas.. but... bastards...

06-26-2009, 09:59 AM
Frikin A guys! Beautiful translation from 2D to 3D!

06-26-2009, 03:59 PM
Looks great guys!!! Keep it coming.

First rendertest of the main guy by Kory. Model is still work in progress.
Meanwhile we are trying to figure out how we set up the whole intro sequence. As Kory mentioned before we might be able to post the first pass on the storyboard next week. I will also do some first animation test with Nico's rig. Stay tuned!

06-26-2009, 11:50 PM

i really like the style, it's very cool and impressive. I wish you good luck for the competition.

One thing maybe, at the main characters face: The texture of the beard looks a bit stretched at the chin. Maybe you want to improve that tiny bit.

so long

06-27-2009, 08:23 AM
hahahaha.. pure awesomeness! :D

06-27-2009, 02:00 PM
looking good.....the expression is so cool. But are you still working on lights?

06-27-2009, 08:00 PM
that character looks awesome.
your styles feat together brilliantly.

looking forward!

06-27-2009, 10:01 PM
this is VERY MUCH a work in progress.
Nico is working on the final rig so all the deformations will look good.
I did this just so I didn't have to look at him in the T-pose.
As for the lighting... we are just experimenting.
I am glad it seems to be capturing the style that Goro and I are going for.
It is something that both of us are excited about.

Moving stuff is on the horizon now. So things should be getting exciting.

thanks everyone!!!

06-28-2009, 02:43 AM
Your concept is very good. I liked!!!

06-29-2009, 02:20 PM
Really nice and impressive work, can't wait to see how it will end up,good luck

06-29-2009, 06:29 PM

Here's another render test Kory did. With SSS wohoo :D
I was about to start animating this weekend but things came in the way and I ended up not setting a single keyframe :(
But we are on it!

06-29-2009, 07:51 PM
Ah man! Looks great! Daaaamn your entry is going to be soo cool!

06-29-2009, 08:13 PM
Hey, guys, this is looking great! Did you do the model, Kory? He looks great! (Was that what you were suggesting on my thread, that I should just model my characters instead of painting them/ I didn't quite follow your note.)

still waiting to see what you'll do with the third guy. It sounds like, story-wise, you're not sure if he's a generic henchman or a villain, and design-wise, it looks it - like you still haven't committed one way or the other yet. I'm sure you'll work it out and he'll totally kick ass then.

Anyhow, good luck with it all.. we'll miss you over in the image section! :D

06-29-2009, 08:44 PM
That newest render is great! It looks somehow gritty yet elegant.

Can't wait to see him move!

06-29-2009, 09:35 PM
You guys are a hell of a team! Fantastomatic! :D

06-29-2009, 09:39 PM
hey goro,

you guys have some great concept so far! i'll keep an eye on this thread!!

06-30-2009, 05:23 AM
Well I'm diggin it that you are diggin it!

WE are in the middle of getting things set up for the animation part of the deal.
You know when the magic happens!
Nico is getting his rig on and Goro is prepping for animation.
Goro's brother is laying down some tasty licks. Or so I heard.
And I am finishing up the rough pass at an aniamtic.
I think Goro will post a taste of it in the AM.

06-30-2009, 12:29 PM
Nice shot. Dof looks like rendered in mentalray - isnt?. In final rednering you will use zdeph in postproduction for DOF?

06-30-2009, 04:36 PM
nice expression and good ligthing....

06-30-2009, 10:39 PM
mind blowing work! (as usual)

06-30-2009, 10:47 PM
Wow this is looking better all the time. Can't wait for some animation tests. :)

07-01-2009, 12:04 AM
I like it yeay!! Kudos!

07-01-2009, 03:35 AM

Here is my attempt on the girl. Since we don't have much time we will give her just one costume. ^^
Kory will do minor changes on her anatomy during the Modeling process. We are going to shorten the torso and she definitely needs a bit more volume up there ^^

07-01-2009, 03:38 AM
thanks for your comments everyone!

Staszek (http://forums.cgsociety.org/member.php?u=110695)
Nope it's Lightwave.
We probably won't even use DOF since we are planning to keep the backgrounds

07-01-2009, 03:48 AM
Great work so far guys..
I am super curious to see them moving..Also hoping to see that Big bad guy's design to come along who was punching our agent in previous concepts.. :D

07-01-2009, 04:07 AM
Hi guys!

Just wanted to say hello, since I haven't posted anything yet.
My area of expertise (digital audio + composing) may not be directly related to CG or imagery, but I count myself as a kind of digital artist. Hope that's reason enough to be here ;)

Really looking forward to working out the musical background. Everything looks cool and promising!
Getting my equipment ready now. Excited to be part of this project!

07-01-2009, 09:52 AM
I have to say it again ... you guys are a hell of a team ...
fantastic transition of the concepts!

@Goro: watching your progress and painting style is great!

07-01-2009, 10:44 AM
... crew, what can i say that already wasn't sad.
Great works.
You keep updating this very fast

07-02-2009, 03:37 AM
Great work guys!! Amazing designs :bounce:

I'm keeping an eye on it!!

07-02-2009, 02:43 PM

07-02-2009, 06:39 PM

My brother sent me his first pass on the music. I've sent him Kory's work in progress animatic for inspiration.
I think it's sounds already pretty awesome. Here is the link. (still WIP)

Music 1st pass (http://www.area-56.de/pics/cgtalk/sectret_agent/sectret_agent_st_01.mp3)

We will post the animatic as soon as it's done. I'm still working on the character designs right now.

07-06-2009, 06:33 PM
Now I just need to get that animatic finished.
Family and holidays slowed me down.
Gotta have a life you know!!!

AWSOME stuff Fujita Brothers

07-06-2009, 06:35 PM
Nice music...it sounds like those detective shows of the 80īs....old times!

07-07-2009, 01:23 AM
Hey i really like this funky sound!! Can't wait!! :banghead:

07-07-2009, 07:36 AM
Music is very cool! Me like it.

07-07-2009, 04:18 PM
The music is good, has a Hawaii Five-O feel to it. Perhaps when the animatic is done it will make a bit more sense though. Keep rockin' guys.

07-07-2009, 06:43 PM

I found some time to finish up the characters.
So here is the final character lineup. We are not sure about costume B of her yet since we don't have much time. Right now we are planning to use only costume A.
Kory is modeling the girl right now. My next step would be test animate Nico's rig.

We will post the animatic as soon as it's done. I'm still working on the character designs right now.

At first I thought that the intro' would be similar to MGS2's intro'. A rainy night-time setting, but after hearing the soundtrack, it seems as though it is taking a new turn. Can't wait to see how this shall end up. Keep it up guys!

07-07-2009, 09:17 PM
Very nice! I'm looking forward to seeing your updates!

07-08-2009, 12:02 AM
That soundtrack sample is freaking excellent. It really works well with the characters and style you guys have created. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next.

07-08-2009, 12:27 AM
Thanks for the feedback on the soundtrack guys!
Glad it's overall positive :)
Composing the wireframe for the rest of the tune now.

07-08-2009, 01:09 PM
3 guys but so few updates lately? bringing in your brother to help(very cool music!) so you 'artists' :arteest: can take vacation, i call it lazzziness..

07-08-2009, 03:19 PM
c'mon Fellah,
It's just the calm before the storm!!!

Soon for real this time with the animatic.

07-09-2009, 01:11 AM
Yeah, Kory is right!

We are just too busy working on out secret agent project, so we can`t post! Lol !
No seriously - its going pretty well! Kory is working on the animatic.
Goro started testing the rig and I am working on the face rig right now.

Just be patient and you will be soon rewarded with some moving stuff :-)

In case you're wondering...we haven't been lazy hehe.
We have a title wohoo! It's going to be
"Secret Agent Omicron"

I started to test Nico's rig.
I did a quick walk cycle test. It was about 2 hours of animation so just a rough pass and still on 2s. We Probably don't need a walk cycle anyways. Currently I'm finalizing a run cycle. I'll post it as soon as I'm done with it.
Kory is still working on the animatic. Unfortunately he lost some data according to a computer crash. But he's on it. My bro finished the first pass of the full soundtrack. I'll post it together with the animatic.

But enough of the bla bla...here you go!

I finished the runcycle. Since there is not much time I will try to animate every shot as fast as possible and if there is time left I can still go back and tweak the animations.

Spy Runcycle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwHjcqH7pbo)

I will start shooting some video references soon.

07-15-2009, 06:17 AM
Super awesome.
OK. that's it from me.
I gotta get back to work on fixing that animatic!

07-15-2009, 07:04 AM
It's coming along nicely, good soundtrack too :)

07-15-2009, 09:29 AM
very nice :)
Animation is looking good. I like that you did hair bounceing.

07-15-2009, 08:47 PM
nice !!!
maybe you could add a bit more weight and up & down to the run cycle

07-16-2009, 02:13 AM
is really cool...but i think that stills need some weight. and smooth the falls.

07-16-2009, 12:46 PM
thats cool ! very nice adaptation of the concept to 3D look

Keep going !

07-18-2009, 11:38 PM
thanks for the comments and suggestions.
Because of the short time we have left I'll focus on the other animations first before
getting back to the runcycle and fixing stuff. But still your feedback is invaluable and
I'll keep the notes in mind so I can work on it in case we have time left at the end....
More to come!

07-18-2009, 11:56 PM
Looking great! Love the run cycle, only crit is that maybe you could keep the elbows in a bit more, right now they don't look like he's in control of them and if you see people running fast, they usually keep their arms very close to their bodies, as if to streamline themselves....just a thought. Keep up the fantastic work! :buttrock:

I went on with animation. I spent the whole weekend animating and I got a lot done. I will upload some snippets soon.

This is just a tiny shot we will include in our sequence. Background and fire effect has nothing to do with the final composite. I did it just for fun :)
As you can see the Face is not animated yet. Nico is working on the Face rig.
The Gun is obviously a stand-in object ^^

Spy Pull Gun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbzDKbCNyI4)

07-21-2009, 07:15 AM
This is excellent (is that a surprise) but maybe a little too slow even it will depend also of the whole sequence/movie rythm.

07-23-2009, 01:22 PM
Im loving it.
I adore Kory's work and am digging the other work on this too.
This should be pretty neat at the end.

08-12-2009, 12:12 PM
I'm getting worried about the lack of updates from this team!

08-12-2009, 04:49 PM
you should be :P

hehe well we've been busy with work lately. We will try our best to finish it.
I'll see if I can upload some new animations tonight. We're workin'

08-12-2009, 09:35 PM
This is looking very nice. I'm very curious about how different teams divide the work. Interesting.

08-13-2009, 02:21 PM
Amazing Style!
You guys have a great team! Keep posting.

Just so you know we haven't given up yet hehe. It's gonna be tough but we will do our best to finish our entry. I wanted to post some new animations earlier but I haven't had a chance to prepare it yet. I'll upload some stuff in the next few days.

So my bro was getting busy with the music. This one is almost final. I really like how it turned out and we hope we can provide the visuals in time :)

Music 2nd pass (http://www.area-56.de/pics/cgtalk/sectret_agent/sectret_agent_st_02.mp3)

Props to my bro!

Kory is working on the 3rd character. I'm still animating and Nico is working on the face rigs etc.

So where are the anti sleep pills??

08-26-2009, 06:03 PM
it's good to see you guys back!
Music is pretty promising, keep it up!

08-27-2009, 06:14 AM
Hey, very cool! Glad to see you guys are still making progress. Well, besides the fact that your entry is gonna be pretty stiff competition : )

Love your concept work by the way.

Is the camera final for that shot? It seems just a little floaty as it moves down while he jumps. Maybe that's not a bad thing for the shot... just seems like one of those camera moves where it might be a bit tricky to pull it off so smoothly like that in real life. Just a thought, his animation is looking sweet so far.

Good luck finishing!

08-27-2009, 08:45 AM
Well done :D

Keep the animations coming!

08-27-2009, 01:28 PM
Really nice animation. The first jump off the building need more of an arc to it though, the last jump down is cool.

08-27-2009, 04:50 PM
Thanks for your feedback

The camera is not final. We probably won't even use it.
We will shoot him from the side I think.
I only set a couple of keyframes for this one.

Thanks! The arc should be there. It's just hard to see from that angle
if you look at it from the sideview it should be alright.

09-06-2009, 08:15 AM
awesome stuff! what a great team :)

09-06-2009, 09:47 AM
Well we are all working hard and it is looking pretty great if I do say so myself.
Everyone on the team has really done am amazing job. I am more than impressed by all the work so far.
I can't wait to show all of you here at CGTALK what we were up to all these weeks!

09-08-2009, 12:20 PM

I'm pretty excited to see how everything is turning out. We got a lot of work done. I'll post some animation snippents soon. Nico did a tremendous Rigging Job and I finished the animation part. Kory is working hardcore on compositing and editing and I will work on the credits tonight. My Bro finished the music a while ago :) It's all coming together.

Man I am loving what you have been doing Goro and Nico!

People are going to flip out when they see it move!

09-08-2009, 06:22 PM
looking really cool, I'm excited to see it! Good luck!

09-08-2009, 06:38 PM
Hell Yeah!
We worked like crazy, esp. the last weekend was insane.
I still have red eyes from staring into the monitor the whole time, and Goro is beyond words anyway...he animated, lit, modeled,...like a maniac. I love the models and textures that I got from Kory - they were fun to work with.
I can`t wait to see the final movie that Kory is putting together.
Awesome team, awesome project and a lot of fun :-)

Those characters are awesome, I can't wait to see more animation

09-08-2009, 09:26 PM
Great characters. You have set the expectations high.

So I was spending the whole weekend plus monday on the anmation. I had to blast through it since I had to provide Kory with footage. So except the footage I posted earlier in this thread, everything was animated in the last three days. I definitely have a lack of sleep :)

Nico's rigs were extremely intuitive and definitely the best rigs I've ever animated with.

Kory did an awesome job on the character
modeling. He is extremely busy with compositing right now.

This is just the lineup of the animations I did. Still a bunch of stuff to take care about but we are getting there!

09-09-2009, 07:53 AM

09-09-2009, 08:22 AM

09-09-2009, 08:25 AM
Awesome stuff guys! I knew this project's going to be great!
I just played the music with the footage. Already works pretty cool haha.

09-09-2009, 04:18 PM
I'm glad you like it.
I have listened to the music at least a gazillion times and it still makes me smile.

Everyone who has seen what we are up to seems to really enjoy what wev'e got going on.
One more day until we set it free.
to everyone on CGTALK, thanks for the support and the kind words. I know it's helped everyone on this side. We are very proud of what we have been able to put together and hope that it is as fun to watch as it was to create it!

Back to little fixes and polishing

09-09-2009, 04:34 PM
Awesome! Wow, great work so fast! Is that the whole thing or is there more?

09-09-2009, 05:14 PM
thanks Dave,

Nope. that is actually only the animation and character stuffthat Goro and Nico worked on. There is a WHOLE LOT more. Pretty much everything That I have been working on has not been previewed yet.

09-12-2009, 12:24 PM
Really looking forward to this.

This has such a unity of style - perhaps the most professional looking of the entries.

Good luck.

09-12-2009, 12:58 PM
this looks like fun - cant wait to see the final
great team :applause:

09-12-2009, 01:18 PM

I'm working on the making of part at the moment. Kory is busy with the final tweaks on the main composite.
We can make it!

nice....i hope that you can finish...i am to finish too!

09-13-2009, 11:35 AM
Whatever if it's about a movie or a game, music has a very very huge importance, in my mind. It brings wealth and depth on the composition especially when it sounds good and is perfectly used. it catches the sensibility... (Bla, bla,..)

these soundtracks are very great and so pro! Congrats the compositor, now!

Good luck!

09-13-2009, 09:26 PM
thanks for the great comments everyone!

you know it's times like these I realize that my computer is old.

09-13-2009, 10:53 PM
Thanks for the nice words. Truly appreciated.
It was really fun to do the music for this project. Can't wait to see the final version myself!

I can't believe that I'm posting our finished piece right now. It was an incredible experience to work in such a strong team!

Kory Heinzen

Goro Fujita
Character Design
Lighting & Rendering

Nico Sanghrajka
Pipeline Development
Rigging TD
Additional Modeling

Ryosuke Fujita
Original Soundtrack

When The challenge first started we were all full of enthusiasm.
Our idea was to create an intro sequence for a fake TV series that we called "Agent Omicron".
In that sequence we would show a bunch of scenes out of the Agent Omicron Episodes. You can see in our color keys, what kind of shots we had in mind. Soon we realized that modeling and rendering whole environments with effects like rain would be too much work since we all have a full time job and could only work in the evenings and weekends. So we decided to use simple shapes and motion graphics for most of the backgrounds instead. While Kory was starting working on the animatic in After Effects I was doing test animations with Nico's rig. As soon as we had the first 15 seconds of the animatic, I sent it to my brother with a bunch of notes about what kind of music we had in mind.
When I finished animating a run cycle and the jumping action sequence of the spy, Kory's After Effects file got corrupt and he lost a huge chunk of his work.

We were doomed....the whole enthusiasm was gone and it was hard for us to keep going. For the longest time the only one that was working on the project was my Brother in Japan. He finished his part fairly quickly and we got the final soundtrack a couple of weeks ago. Nico was not available for 6 weeks and the hope of being able to finish was almost gone.
At the beginning of last week I talked to Kory if he is still planning to finish it and he said "YES". So we took advantage of the labor day weekend and started working hardcore. At that time our third character "Thud Thompson" wasn't even modeled yet. That's how hopeless the situation was. 70% of what you are going to see was done within 3 fairly long days. We basically skipped the animatic stage and went straight to final. I animated, lit, and rendered 48 seconds that weekend while Nico was updating the rigs on the fly, fixing skinning problems, modeling and rigging the car etc. Kory was modeling "Thud" and working with the rendered footage I provided. The intro sequence was done by thursday and luckily the deadline got extended so we had enough time to work on the 30sec Trailer and the making of. My brother arranged his soundtrack and created a jazzy version for the making of part. We had tons of fun creating this project and we are also very pleased with the result!
Thanks CGtalkers for your great support and keeping us motivated!

Background info...

Agent Omicron

Aging International Superstar Steve Camembert stars in the 80's classic Japanese spy show "Agent Omicron"
While not popular outside Japan at the time, the show has gained cult status in the United States and Germany.
The Fans or "Cronys", as they call themselves are drawn to its campy fun and exploration of almost precient Sci-fi concepts. The ethics of cloning, genetic manipulation, nanotechnology and robot/human hybrid rights were common themes featured on the show.
An other star of the show was Japanese American actress Aiko Givewell. She played Omicrons Techy sidekick and had quite a following among the younger male audience. in the second last season her character in the series greatest twists, turned sides and became the main antagonist.
After the cancellation of Agent Omicron Ms. Givewell stared in a very short lived spinoff.
The last stand out cast member was Thud Thompson. He was a Worlds Strongest Man Champion from Sweden. He dreamed of being the Swedish Arnold Schwarzenegger. Agent Omicron was his only acting job.

One other contributing factor of the alure of the show was the mystery surrounding the death of its star. Steve Camembert killed while filming a spectacular stunt for the series final episode.
An early edit of the show was said to have put together but it was never aired. For the "Cronys" finding this episode is the holy grail.
In early 2008 it was rumored that Michael Bay was in talks to tale Agent Omicron to the big screen. He was quoted saying that he wasn't interested in making another stupid Japanese movie for kids. So for now Agent Omicron and his crew of super spies will only live on in decaying VHS tapes and Youtube...

09-14-2009, 02:43 PM
Sweeeeet. Very inspiring work!

Congrats on finishing and good job cranking that sexy dial. (The whole thing is great but that has to be my favorite part.)

09-14-2009, 03:59 PM
phew we made it!
and I think I only lost a year or two off my life.
A good trade off maybe?
Anyway, thanks for all the support and kind words as we cranked this thing out.
I know everyone who worked on this had a great time, hecktic but great.
I couldn't be more impressed with what my team mates were able to do.
This was probablly the most rewarding and smooth colaboration of wich I have ever been a part.
It makes me want to do another one with these exact same guys!
Maybe start a mini studio or something...hmmm

Now I am off to check out all the other awesome entries. now that I have the time.

Very solid entry! Your team did an amazing job getting it done! I love the style of the character. THe compositing with the background elements and 2d stuff is really cool!

Wish this would be a tv serie ^_^ go bother some producer please! :deal:

Thanks for the comments.
I am pleased that everyone seems to be enjoying the style.
I came as sort of a hybrid of Goro and my own personal work.
Some things were intentional while others were due to time constraints.
I'll let you decide which ones.
It worked out quite well in the end.

best of luck to all the entries.

Great work !
there is a little mistake in the cgchallenge page (http://features.cgsociety.org/story_custom.php?story_id=5293&page=2).( perhaps i type the texte in the wrong section).
The comment's i made,"Something between Cobra and dirty harry. Great animation and beautifull music. I wish to see this on tv." was for you.

i hope to see more of your works ! :buttrock:
