Latest Update: Finished Video: FINAL VIDEO - JACK FORCE:LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT
06 June 2009, 12:22 AM
This is the start of our project, a sequence-shot discovering our agent at the end of a mission, as in the old Bond movies. The Idea is to place the hero in an undefined age but mostly old-fashion style.
06 June 2009, 12:26 AM
Here I have the first comp in AE with some renders I did in Electric Image, some frames for you to see how is going on whta I show you before in the story

06 June 2009, 01:30 PM
The submarine shots look very dynamic. I think lighting them underwater will be a fun exercise!
Looking forward to seeing more. :D
06 June 2009, 04:33 PM
Your character going to be 3d or live action?
06 June 2009, 09:20 PM
Hi Timmay, I'm thinking about it and maybe a mix of both, for example, the submarine shot probably will be 3D but in others will be real.
06 June 2009, 03:59 PM
this is awesome...can't wait to see more.
06 June 2009, 11:02 PM
Fantastic Concept images. :)
06 June 2009, 11:54 PM

07 July 2009, 04:38 PM
looking good!....this reminds me a movie with shean conery i think is red october....
07 July 2009, 09:11 PM
Wow... this is looking really great!, already got some rendered pics!! Whe haven't finished modeling yet :hmm:
07 July 2009, 10:21 PM
The design of the chair is from the master Ken Adam, and was designed for 007 film "Thunderball".
I love the style of the 60's movies. That kind of minimal but effective. Like Star Wars technology in the New Hope, very basic, only the necessary stuff around.
07 July 2009, 12:44 AM
The chair and the Bad Guys HeadQuarters Room, some kind of Spectre Design.
07 July 2009, 11:01 AM
Some desert exterior with a nice Lamborghini going wild
07 July 2009, 11:38 AM
great work. Wainting for mixing all these things together.
07 July 2009, 01:23 PM
This is coming along really well mate. Just want to see those frames moving now.
And that minimal furniture is perfect. ;)
07 July 2009, 09:47 AM
Wow, OMG !
Great things around here !
07 July 2009, 03:07 PM
Ohh thats nice...how you did it?....
07 July 2009, 03:28 PM
Thanks Melkao, I'm using SILO for modelling, ELECTRIC IMAGE for 3d animation and rendering and AFTER EFFECTS for compositing, grading etc...
And also thanks to all who post comments in our entry, all of them are great for our spirits, he he... you are great.
07 July 2009, 03:57 PM

Wicked! Great work guys!
07 July 2009, 11:00 AM
Nice one, Although I think that helicopter should move the smoke a lot once flying above it.
07 July 2009, 09:26 PM
That is really nice i cant wait for the end product
07 July 2009, 08:53 PM
very cool, and fast work! I too look forward to what you guys can acomplish. Going as fast as you do, could be very interesting competition.
07 July 2009, 09:09 PM
Boom!!! Boom!!! Boom!!!.....more explosions please. Tests look great! Wanna c more.
07 July 2009, 03:04 AM
Are you kidding?...be serious...do you want to kick out all of us?...that just blow my mind!
07 July 2009, 05:08 AM
Yes, you guys have quite a fast turnaround on your work. Great SFX test as well. With the right explosion, debris and plume, that shot will be splendid.
Can't wait to see more!
Best regards, Varun
07 July 2009, 10:16 PM
Great start. Look forward to seeing the edit start to come together.
07 July 2009, 09:34 PM
I like your work, 3d animation, sound, fx, ....
One little thing that bugs me is, how the angle of the missile is opposed to the angle of the helicopter.
07 July 2009, 09:52 PM
Hello Killay, you are right, also somebody said the smoke was not affected by the air from the helicopter, also right. That was a WIP, I already fixed those things. Thanx for your comments guys.
07 July 2009, 11:46 PM
I love the taste of your render and the way of photography. :)
07 July 2009, 01:20 PM
Not sure why everything has a green tint to it.
I mean I know they use this effect in some world war II movies etc. but it just looks wierd with modern stuff.
Do you have that shot finished?
07 July 2009, 03:31 AM
Hi Pierzak, I read your post, and some questions comes to my mind too. The first is if you would do the same question if the film were in Black and White... the second comes naturally for me and is that maybe you think in present, and we have no fastenings with that, I use all the tools, ideas, styles, characters, colors... my palette has, and green, color, B/W are part of my options so I feel lucky to have the option to choose.
When we started this challenge one of the first things I said was that the project had not a precise time location. We want to mix things from past to future if they blend fine just for to get a cool mood. When I see MATRIX, as an example, the green grading doesn't work as a Time Locator, you don't say this is a modern film because is graded green, you don't even think about modern anyway, you just watch the movie and introduce you into an experience the artists behind wanted to transmit to you. If you watch Saving Private Ryan the green grading force you into feeling that has nothing in common with time. Rumble Fish is B/W because Rusty James is color-blind not because is in 1983.
My conclussion is that you have to open your mind for to have fun and remember the fun was doing it. No barriers man, feel free to say what you want in the time you want.
And the shot is not finished.
07 July 2009, 07:19 PM
you right CGIsrael
Great job by the way ;)
cant wait to see more!
07 July 2009, 08:18 PM
Im really enjoying the breakdowns of the shots.

Hello all, here we post a homage to the landing sequences from the old Bond movies, to Jamaica for example. this is for the trailer part. An old Boeing 707 with the original sound, I blended 2 sounds from the 707 and the music, John Barry - Goldfinger Miami intro, is just reference for the musician.
Hope you like

07 July 2009, 04:38 PM
Must say, I like what you have in production so far. Your team is going to be very hard to beat.....but this is why we compete. Can't wait to see more.
07 July 2009, 04:23 AM
This we post the first shot I did for to involve the people of my team. We changed a bit the intro and now is a bit different, but the same thing. Better, I hope.

Go go go go!
07 July 2009, 04:15 PM
DUDE! Are you freakin serious? That's awesome! I can't believe so many things you are doing (in a good way)!?!? First how far you've come, how fast you've gone, how good it looks, and the real zinnger, that you're using Electric image? Woooow you must be the best Electric Image guy in the world! I thought EI died after Universe. I used it back in 1999/2000 but shoot, you're doing really well! Keep it up!
just to be sure, you're really lighting, shading, animating, everything in EI? What about the FX?
07 July 2009, 07:18 PM
While watching your video I was like your avatar !
Continue to produce wonders!
07 July 2009, 07:53 PM
Dave summed it up. Like I said before, your going to be hard to beat. More please.

08 August 2009, 07:13 AM
Great work so far Israel. Have you guys been working on live action shoots as well?
Best regards, Varun
08 August 2009, 09:25 AM
Looks really good, really liking the lighting and mood to it all, are you building all the models from scratch?? be cool to see some wire framed shots maybe??
08 August 2009, 07:49 PM
Thanks to AAAAAAAAAAAALL of you for your great and POSITIVE comments, sincerelly, I didn't thought about this good feedback and you don't really now how constructive your thinkings are for us. Thanks again.
Meanwhile, I have some answers for you:
Hi Destruct007 - Dave, great comments, thanks and yes, EI man, hard to find us but we exist HAHAHAHHAHA!!!, I use Electric since 1994, 1.5 version. I used to model in FormZ in those moments, after that, Modeller came but now I use Silo for modelling, I can export to .fac from there. All animation, lighting, shading and render is done in EI, but after that, After has many to say. For the effects almost everything is done in After, I export object and camera data in OBM format and in After I have a plugin to import the data, so every data in EI is translated to AE. Particular from trapcode is one of my main plugins in this project for the smoke, clouds or small things like some debris or boats tails in the sea. In the making we have to do, I will show you the process of one shot. very fun.
Sae Dubai, welcome comments, we have to do the shooting but summer hollidays here in Madrid is hard, because everybody change the city for to go to the beach, so I have to wait for the actors and some more guys so I don't know the dates yet.
Sknne77, welcome man, I wish you many luck and good work in your project, I have to say that I didn't modeled all the models. I had some models from a library like planes, boats.... But the interior of submarine for example, not seen yet in this entry, is fully modelled by us, the submarine, the bad guys (E.V.I.L.) main room, with the chair I posted in the beginning, etc...
I will post soon some WF for to show some process
Best wishes to all of you and your team mates for that wonderful job you are doing.
and I WANT SOME DAYS IN IBIZA TOO, is comming...... OK
08 August 2009, 09:15 AM
Heven't heared from you in a long time.
Last shot you did looks amazing... I am eager to see more quality work.
08 August 2009, 01:58 AM
Hi Pierzak, you are right man, I've been working a lot this last month, and the last 3 weeks this was hell, also for the weather, we are around 38º C Degrees everyday and BUFFFFF!!! Now I'm going to take some rest to Ibiza and I will shot almost everything we need there, many underwater shots, and here in Madrid is a nice croma pool set for to rent with one of the walls in cristal for to shot from outside, awesome. But I talk with the people from there and 2100 Euros/Day or 1500 half day, she made me a price of 800 half day but with that money I spend 10 days on the beach, in a friend's house an we shot there with nice girls, sun, the sea..... Tomorrow I leave this town, but some hard drives and cameras comes with me, otherwise I will never finish this movie. Thanks again for your comment, what a speech man, so sorry, he he. Best wishes.
08 August 2009, 01:47 PM

08 August 2009, 08:19 PM
Hi people, I'm back from Ibiza and I got mostly everything we need for the movie. Not all, because we need to shot more takes underwater but mostly all is in my hard drive.
I show you some pictures from the shooting. Very fun times, here you can see Juan as Jack Force falling from Statue of Liberty in NY and me with the wind in my hands, I think I loose some kilos in this shooting....... very healthy, jejejejejjeje. And down is the terrorist with some hostages, just for a moment....
I will post more cool things next days.
Nice to know from you again guys.
08 August 2009, 09:50 PM
That look so interesting... :) I can't wait to see first green screen shot done.
08 August 2009, 09:18 AM
The scale is definitely big here. The pictures from the shoot look promising. Curious to see all of it put together. Specially the underwater shots!
09 September 2009, 12:44 AM

09 September 2009, 02:19 AM
wonderfull!!! So much shots for the granted deadline... Vfx working good and Jack Force is just excellent! your team did a good job! One of my favorites!
09 September 2009, 02:27 AM
Awesome work! Might get the fx prize for those fire plumes on the burning ships! stock explosions underwater just from lack of time to do something cg? Those look like art beats, am I right? Just guessing since I've looked at them a lot :D Great work!
Note, and I hope you get this in time. The fully naked guy (the clone) in the making of, you have to cut that out, you may get disqualified. Hope you read this in time, or they give you a chance to upload a version with out.
Really great work, tons and tons of shots! Wow.
09 September 2009, 05:14 AM
Hi guys, great you like it, Dave I have sent a copy with a dot on top of it but for 5 minutes, I sent it 5 minutes before the deadline but overpass in 8 minutes the timeline and it doesn't upload, I hope there won't be a problem, I really forgot to erase it. I don't know what will happen...
Thanks again for your comments
09 September 2009, 04:27 PM
write to the admins and ask them to let you upload the same version minus that shot. Its a really great entry I hope they will make the exception, there's no reason to be hard about it. Good luck!
09 September 2009, 04:42 PM
there was so much there.
I loved the sky and planes and ships. that was great.
everything else just confused me. It looked good. I just didn't know what it was all about.
It has me curious however.
Best of luck!
09 September 2009, 05:50 PM
I like the idea of clones in the swimming pool. :) Nice villa to shoot btw.
I think your team did an amazing job. YOu have put in a lot of effort, even shooting under water... wow. I like the style of the trailer. well done and bravo.
The only thing that struck me in the trailer is the submarine... In the background there is a man smoking a cigarette...yes ... a cigarette. They have very little oxygen as it is on the submarine and that guys makes it even less..somebody should tell him to put it off before its too late. :)
09 September 2009, 06:38 PM
Yeah Dariusz, mechanics, they are a band apart, he he he, and all my respects to all the mechanics.
09 September 2009, 10:02 PM
Cool, lot of action! :) super
Realy lot of done. You did great job.
09 September 2009, 06:40 PM
Fun piece, congrats! Can't imagine how much work went into it... love the over-the-top acting and the battle scene is really impressive.
10 October 2009, 03:19 PM
Congratulation to you and to everyone who finished :) :)
See you on the next challenge ;)
10 October 2009, 11:50 PM
Awesome! All that sweat and passion finally ended up with this :) Congrats great team!
