Alright, here I am for my second challenge. I'm haven't even an inkling of what my entry will, be but I'm sure I will come up with something while groovin' to Secret Agent on SomaFM ( (I got the link from Walrus in the challenge discussion thread).

There are so many possibilities in a challenge with this theme. I love James Bond, so I may go that direction; only time will tell. Good luck to everyone else.

Cheers and God bless.

The idea hit me today. I was thinking about Jason Bourne and James Bond, my favorite spies, and I got this. Our hero, whose name and background have yet to be determined, has been enjoying a rest in this island safe house after a hard night's work, when he is ambushed by the henchmen of his nemesis, Doctor (Insert Name of Evil Genius). They blow down the steel-plated door and rush into the room. Our hero, never to be caught off guard, reaches for his gun, preparing to take on the baddies.

This should be an interesting challenge. I have never modeled a humanoid character before, and I have but a very rudimentary knowledge of figure drawing and anatomy. I'm studying both of those areas (translation: reading Andrew Loomis's books), but I haven't time to master that and enter this challenge. Thus I have chosen the latter.

I know it will be fun.

Cheers and God bless.

Also, here is a link ( to a higher res version.

I am trying to work out the pose for the agent as he grabs his gun. I have decided that he shall be the only character visible; the bad guys' off-screen presence will be suggested through various devices. I would love help with the pose and anatomy of this guy, as I have never really forayed into this territory before. I will definitely consult "Figure Drawing for All It's Worth" for assistance, but I would love all the help I can get. Be brutal.

Cheers and God bless.
