View Full Version : Physical Sky question

Hai all,

I am working with an animation that has physical sun and sky. When i render a single picture you see a nice picture with a bleu sky ( the normal one)
But when i render in batch and then when i put this sequence in combustion or final cut i cant see the sky. It makes it an alpha layer or so because its totaly black.
Ho do i get this back ground to be rendered in the pictures.
I dont want any fancy clouds just the normal gradiant with blue. Is it possible to bake the sky in the picture or something?

Please help me with this im kinda in a hurry with this.

I suppose just dont render out an alpha.

When you import the footage into your compositing-app, tell it to ignore
the alpha...

well i can test it only in combustion here but when i import a footage i cant choose anything for te alpha.

I can do later on preserve alpha but its still black then.

i just want the image to be rendered out with that standard background "baked" in the picture.
I can choose : Use back ground and then put a back grou nd in it but then i get some wierd results as renders..

**** EDIT** combustion automaticly does an alpha.. you can turn it off in an other part then i was looking in. now it has the looks i want.

In the Framebuffer settings tell MR to render to RGB instead of RGBA. There, no alpha.

Sky disappears when I render an image in 32/64 bit..How do i fix this??

like that. 32/64bit will contain alpha. just render in 16bit that's plenty.
