Hello everyone, I've lurked here since forever but finally caved in and created an account after having difficulty looking for help on this topic. I am doing research on how to create an organic, or "womb level" that works for Unreal3, and so far I am unable to find any info on the process of creating living levels, much less where to start.
This is an example of the kinds of levels I'm referring to:
I don't intend to just throw a bunch of meat textures on random meshes, so if anyone has a better method to come up with some squishy, pulsating grossness, I would really appreciate your help.
So far I've accumulated a decent list of games that feature these sorts of levels, but no info on how they came to be or people that have been involved with them. It would be awesome if someone could point me in the right direction (or person).
