View Full Version : Texture Stretching with user-defined "Solid" regions

Hi all,
For a while I've had an idea how to create the effect of "solid" chunks in a stretching texture, that won't require any complex or time consuming setup, something like what Weta did in Lord of the Rings with Treebeard, though I have no idea how they did it.

Anyway, here's a really simple video

I'd really like to get some feedback on this, so feel free to say whatever you think.
