View Full Version : transparency won't render for mia_material_x

I'm trying to create a frosted glass shader using mia_material_x but the transparency doesn't seem to be working. I applied the shader to the ball and used the Frosted Glass preset but this is what I get:

the scene is based on this tutorial:

also i'm on a mac if that makes a difference

Have a look at your render settings to see if there are enough refractions/refractions for this one. It looks like your rendering at "draft" preset, change it to "production" for a quick check.
