Sorry for my dummy questions again...

when making a texture map, Must I use the exact number of pixels of my exported map (an eps, for example)

or can i use a greater pixel size image, for a better resolution????

thanx, cause now making a map, i got this question..

Sure, you can use any size map you want. The exported UV template is just a long as you maintain the same height/width ratio of your template, you shouldn't have any problems.

For example, say you take a screen grab of your UVs and the resulting image is 800x600 in Photoshop, you can scale it up to 1600x1200, 2400x1800, etc and then paint in this higher-res file, and everything will still line up correctly.

Though you're probably better off exporting your template at a resolution that's as close to your desired map size as possible, so you don't get fuzzy lines to paint over, but like I said, you can scale the template up if you need to.
