View Full Version : Use a light as a transparency mask?

Is it possible to use a spotlight as a transparency mask on a object/texture?
My goal is to only show the the part of the texture that has a intensity of 1 from the light.

Im grateful for help on my problem

use the surface luminance utility node in the transparency chanel. you may have to connect the output to all three transparency channels.
