When I apply mocap to the character the arms bend up and the figure hunches over a little.
Even though the mocap skeleton is straight.
Now I did adjust the 3Ddave skeleton to fit the mesh by shorting up the arm bones and bringing the head bone down a little.
is the a problem with my bone placement?
I would attach an image but I keep being told the 29KB image is too big.

It's hard to really know what's going on without some images of the problem.
(sorry, didn't see your entry about posting an image... why not crop it or reduce it to under 20K?)

Turn down your Reach IK for your arms

Adjusting the reach helps a little but not enough.
