View Full Version : Extra padding on rendered images

I've been looking for a script or other method that will allow me to keep the size/composition of a scene locked, while expanding the area that is rendered. For example, I want to take a view like in original-size.png and increase the resolution and expand the area to that of resized.png, while keeping the objects the same size. The reason for this is that I'm making sprites and would like to get more in the frame without having to scale everything to match afterwards.

I don't know how to accomplish this any other way through render, camera settings et c., so might there be a script to do it? I'm using an isometric camera at an angle, so it should be as simple as pulling back the camera in the correct proprtion to the heigh and width of the rendered image, right?
