View Full Version : "Subdermal lightsource" in Max MR

Hi, im trying to place a lightsorce (standard omni) inside this mesh with sss fast skin shader to create something like the cylon-spine-thingy from BSG.

But im not getting the result im after.
I guess its because i havent got any normals pointing inward in the mesh, but is there any way to go around this? Like a "Make 2sided" Hacks or something? or can it be done in another way?
Perhaps it would be easier to fake it in the diffuse/self-illume maps but i might have to animate it so in that case a lightningsolution would be better.
