basically this is the situation: I've created a model in max, unwrapped and textured but I've decided I need to use a shader. Using FX Composer I've managed to create a Blinn bump reflect map ( my UV texture map, no normal map, and the environment map ) and dragged it on the imported model and it seems to work perfectly in that program.
First of all, is there anyway of exporting the model as it is? or the textures?
Anyway, I found where the materials get saved into as .fx files, in the project folder, and once in max, I used a material slot with DirectX Shader and used the path where the .fx file is including diffuse and environment paths. However when I render the model stays gray, and in the viewport the model appears blue, oddly textured!
