I've been painting textures from a model I had in Maya. I exported the Model as an .obj and made sure to keep the UVs linear in modo as I painted. Now when I bring the textures into maya it just isn't working out it some key areas.

I'm using the approximation editor in maya but even when I smooth the mesh I am not getting desirable results. I was wondering if anybody has encountered this problem before. Any help would be appreciated.
