I wanted to post my WIP somewhere so people could comment. If this is the wrong thread I apologize and could a moderator please move it and let me know where it is going. I'm looking forward to the criticism.

A quick sketch of a human skull. Never know what to paint so I'll mimic until I can do my own thing. Comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hi ne00xide,
Welcome to the board. Sketchbook threads go in this section:

One of the mods will probably move this topic there before too long.

Edit: Ta Da!

I spend a few more minutes on my skull. Critiques please. Any help is appreciated.

I think you need to focus on form more before adding shading or details such as teeth. Your skull is looking very flat and not three dimensional. Try to envision it as a 3d object in real life. Use basic shapes to help build your form like a modified sphere. Look at the photo more before you pick up the pencil. You can also use the image to help correct itself. The nose begins at the level the eye ends. The nose ends at about the cheek. The length of the nose is about the width of the eye. I hope that makes sense. And that it helps.
