I will want Bring Chinese painting to the digital .So I've create a frog of Chinese painting with 3ds max5.1 .Write procedural shaders to simulate the look of ink.

Never seen anything like it (digital 3D chinese painting) I think it is pretty amazing because it looks so "real"
Did it take you long to find out to do it ?
and...What do the Chinese characters say ? :) If I recall correctly the red "stamp" is your signature right ?

I'm create shaders with falloff and gradient ramp in max5.1.
And draw texts and red "stamp" in photoshop7.0.

I think what they call the Chinese characters is look of water ink and brush.and this Style is "simple artistic creation", spontaneous and free. Irregularity - edge of stroke never smooth, shades of color non-uniform.

thought, for a second.. that it was a picture of a frog with some spoons!
other than that..i think its worked to great effect, though the frame and the paper texture could do with more work... maybe scan in some real paper and comp in the model with photoshop?

holy cow, i think you should now the first thing to do is to register your shader. and get a problisher to make it sellable. Sell it world wide!!!

rikrog :the real paper in Environment Map and model scene rendering in 3ds max,not in photoshop,but only text in photoshop. then real effect with shaders .:rolleyes:
