Press Release

Double-digit growth in worldwide sales.

MAXON, March 27, 2009 - MAXON Computer, a leading developer of 3D software solutions, today announced it exceeded sales expectations for the year ended December 31, 2008 - marking 2008 as the company's most successful year ever. A major factor that contributed to the stellar year was an increase of 10.5% in new software license revenues worldwide as compared to 2007, including a remarkable 18% and 15% growth in revenues from its US and UK subsidiaries, respectively.

MAXON attributes the strong results to ongoing adoption of its flagship application, CINEMA 4D, in the production of motion graphics for broadcast, special effects and visualization in many industries, including architecture, science, medical, engineering, games, design and more. Key benefits of the software cited by production companies and 3D artists include ease of use, affordability and value, superior customer service and the software's rock-solid stability. Notable customers who chose to adopt CINEMA 4D into their pipelines in 2008 included Rhythm and Hues, Christian Dior, Bloomberg, Dolce & Gabbana and Saatchi & Saatchi.

"Every year we strive to deliver the highest quality software and service to our customers and it's very gratifying to see those efforts pay off with outstanding results," said Harald Egel, CEO, MAXON Computer. "Our strong year-to-year organic growth clearly demonstrates the growing popularity of CINEMA 4D as an integral part of today's digital production environments and we look forward to continuing to build the business in 2009 with our customers' needs in mind."

MAXON has become a major global player through an integrated network of sales and distribution offices, with customers in over 80 countries and corporate offices in Germany, USA, United Kingdom and Japan. In 2008, MAXON opened a competence center in Paris, France, further strengthening its global presence in what is fast becoming a hotspot for visualization production in Europe.

"The team at MAXON has done an exemplary job of balancing growth while maximizing profitability. We are very pleased to have a solid subsidiary such as MAXON in our portfolio," said Ernst Homolka, CEO of MAXON's parent company, Nemetschek.
