This mech model I've been working on for awhile, in simple terms it's a spider like 4 legged mech.
Rigging Question/Animation sequence question
Currently working on the transformation sequence, reference vid
So at one point I need to rotate the legs, however with the control nurbs stuck to the ground, it would not rotate when I rotate the whole right leg joint.
If I group the whole right leg joint (selected) I am able to rotate everything I need, however that disconnects the joint from the main body. As seen in the image right, and left (not grouped, but no way to rotate all the right parts).
After being stuck on it for a week I've decided to group it, and animate the sequence as 3 completely separate groups. Is there any way to keep the whole hierarchy of the skeleton and able to rotate the legs including the control nurbs?
When I have the model in unfold position, the knee controllers are interacting with the floor and occlusion is giving the weird circles. (every option under render stats has been turned off)
