Ok I made an image map for this little candy I made. The candy is just a basic ball object formed to look like an M&M. So the question i'm asking is how would I center the image map I created in photoshop to be in the center of the object.

by the way the image map is a .png

Just apply the image map to your object and in the Surface Texture editor, adjust the size and position options. :)

steve or anybody, is there a way to make it so it doesnt' tile the texture?

Just turn off the repeat boxes, I don't have lw in front of me but I believe there are two of them. If you have just one surface name for the whole sphere then you are going to have to do some positioning. Why not have 2 surfaces, both with the same colour but the second just covers the polygons you want your image on. That way all you need do is turn off the repeat options and click "Automatic Sizing".
